The Internet has opened up and introduced a lot of new and exciting things in automotive online retail and I have had the fortune of being a part of that since the early stages.

The U of M was in year 2 of a 5-year implementation of PeopleSoft to replace their legacy system. A 6-month backlog of non-payment to vendors was growing and so I was brought into the Help Desk environment to work with Accounts Payable specifically to clear up the backlog. This was my first major exposure with the corporate work environment, ERP systems, and implementation of major information systems.
