I've been CTO for several years in hugsmiðjan, and I am currently holding that position along with my current work title, chief of software development.
My main goal is to make great, quality software, that works well, with great people. I usually do not jump on technologies just for the technology. I'm conservative, realistic, and I try to take educated decisions, rather than jump to conclusions.
I love simple solutions to complicated tasks.

I'm jugleader of java-ice java user group of Iceland.

Did take on few assignments, to begin with (in the early days of internet)web-developement, for different customers, such as Mosfellsbaer athletic team UMFA. Later I did some assignments for Icelands Chambers of commerce, database related, and application developement, mostly in Visual Basic.
I also designed and programmed special booking system for Optical stores, selling glasses, lenses etc. I still do some smaller assignments.
