With years "playing with technology", he helps people achieve their objectives. "Un-kinking" Information Technology and Business Processes delivers the business results that executives know are "in there somewhere". Often it's about methodically tracking requirements and constraints to the Eureka moment. It's all about getting results.

When Director - Directory Infrastructure / Distinguished Engineer at Comcast, he's worked on helping the National Operations & Engineering Organization deliver value to their Customers in cable, internet, and phone services. He really went there to resolve the problems he had when he was a Customer, and stayed for "fun".

He's been "big" and "small", with and without staff, and many times an individual contributor. As "big", he led 290 people in 22 states, managed a huge (90M$ capital / 45M$ expense) budget, and covered diverse areas (i.e., appdev, networking, ops, security, recovery, bpr). As "small", he was a "Chief Cook and Bottle Washer" TWICE -- burnt out both times but had a great time.

Very proud of his Bachelor's degree from Manhattan College (Go Jaspers!) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, he earned it while working full-time. He also earned an MBA/Management and MS/CompSci from FDU. A life long learner, he does an education.

The inveterate tinker, he runs a garage datacenter and prowls for "memes" to try. He has some tomes in search of a publisher and even a book of very bad poetry. He has a "brag book" of accomplishments, such as: 40/41 Diversity, JSC Medal, a hex calculator he invented, IEZFJOHN, Jasper Jottings, and his "Turkey Farm".

He reminds people to give blood. Back at MC, one of the Christian Brothers told a bunch of "them injuneers” to get over to the cafeteria to roll up their sleeves because “they were probably to stupid to make a worthwhile contribution to society, but they were probably smart enough to bleed correctly”.

He’s tried to live up to that expectation.

In every thing I do, I want to be remembered for the high standards that I held myself to, how I exceeded expectations, and did it in away I could be proud of.
