College for Professional Studies
Greater Denver Area
Since the 1970s, the College for Professional Studies (CPS) has offered Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees for the adult learner. CPS is steeped in the tradition of academic excellence and trusted for offering strong student services and recognized degrees built around a well-rounded liberal arts core delivered with a loyal, honest, dependable character including real-world experience in a collaborative learning environment with convenient and flexible learning formats.
Our Promise
CPS incorporates a foundation of the Jesuit tradition into a modern day educational experience, which allows students to enrich themselves and the communities in which they live; where they can become more than a leader. They can become an Influential Leader.
• We incorporate the Jesuit commitment to service in our teaching in the spirit of what is known as the triple bottom line (people, planet, profit): fiscally prudent but focused on the value and development of individual talent, environmental stewardship that embraces sustainable personal and business practices, and social responsibility.
• We create a supportive and collaborative learning environment built on relationships, knowledge, and resources that encourages individuals to be authentic, and stress reflection on how one thinks as opposed to what one thinks.
• We teach the skills to help equip students to make choices in life, applying these skills to oneself and the greater community – “Learn it tonight, use it tomorrow.”
• We focus on customer service, offering an accountable customer service to guide our students through the admissions process, and afterward, with our Career Support for Life.
• We have a dedicated and award-winning faculty who are also working professionals offering the perspective of real-world experience.
