My position with @health has allowed me to serve as a independent worker, multi-task numerous duties and work closely with my supervisor. I have gain important skills in managing the meal service program in which we provide to clients who are looking to eat healthier as well as gain control of their eating habits. I coordinated the program by supplying menu planning, client contact, billing, inventory, packaging and delivery.
As a lead server at Sambuca Italian Bistro, I have learned great insight as to the process of managing a restaurant and working as a team. I utilize my problem solving skills with customers, update menu selection, and support in marketing ideas. As a leader, I have trained multiple employees to become well inform servers of the restaurant and to provide excellent customers service.
My experience in community organizing has shape my leadership potential the most. As a member of C-beyond, I organize political campaign in shaping the community for social justice and work against discrimination of all kinds. We organized summer internship to middle and high school youth to make a difference and teach them valuable leadership skill.
