One of three to start a new business called Bravo:Smart Web Design. Responsibilities included: business development, sales, client presentations/proposals, product development, marketing messaging and materials, training and seminar content development and delivery, client website development, and project management. Developed, advertised and presented several seminars in 2008 to help businesses understand their web marketing and social networking needs. Developed and delivered several 3-day website training courses called “WebSmart Training” to teach businesses how to create and maintain their own website! In one year, Rebecca took an idea and built a business of 26 client websites and managed a staff of 4 employees. Used marketing research, sales knowledge and voice of customer to develop marketing communication strategic plans for 13 global markets (from automotive and semiconductors to LEDs and health care). Proposed and executed marketing communications tactical plans on a global scale (with multiple languages), including trade show booths, advertising campaigns, email/direct mail campaigns, e-marketing, public relations, collateral, presentations, events, web sites, sales kits, posters, folders, promotional pieces, etc. Grew the Dow Corning Electronics marketing communications account an additional $250,000 through relationship development, customer service and creativity. Managed large budget with Dow Corning Electronics clients, including estimates, invoices, vendors, clients, graphic designers, meetings and project workflows / timelines to increase efficiencies in project execution.
