Sports broadcaster Rebecca Haarlow is the Sideline Reporter and a feature producer for the Portland Trail Blazers. One of the youngest broadcasters in the NBA, she is one of three talents who televise all of the NBA team's games. At home or on the road, the experienced reporter can be spotted interviewing players, coaches, and celebrities or providing insight from the sidelines or timeouts. When she is not broadcasting, Ms. Haarlow writes, produces, and voices features that appear in the pre or postgame shows televised on Comcast SportsNet or KGW. In addition to the Trail Blazers broadcasting team, Rebecca Haarlow is both a TV host for Fox Sports Net (FSN) in Los Angeles and one of the original sports reporters for Big Ten Network in Chicago. Rebecca Haarlow made her national TV debut in 2007 on FSN, as a host for the Aussie Millions poker tournament in Australia; however, the articulate and sports savvy Haarlow began her broadcasting career in the San Francisco Bay Area at ABC and Silicon Valley Sports & Entertainment (SVSE). As a Public Relations Coordinator, Rebecca Haarlow organized the media for all of SVSE’s sporting events, most notably the SAP Open men's professional tennis tournament, San Jose Sharks and Stealth games and Miller Lite Fight Night at the Tank. Additionally, Rebecca Haarlow was an in-arena host for the National Lacrosse League (NLL), wrote articles for San Jose Sharks magazine, and was the Shark's Internet reporter for the 2006 NHL playoffs. While working for SVSE, Rebecca Haarlow also served as the sideline reporter for Foothill 7 Television, covering the NBA’s Sacramento Kings and co-hosting the TV series Kingswatch. Competing on the national level in various sports since her youth, Rebecca Haarlow is an athlete. As a freshman at Princeton University, she won the Ivy League Heptathlon Championship in track and field and later became the captain of the team.
