• Overall technology responsibility for the Defined Benefits, HR/Payroll, and Health and Welfare core record keeping systems that support Fidelity’s growing Benefits Outsourcing businesses. Client list includes many of the largest Fortune 500 companies. Financial and technical support required a direct organization of over 300 employees worldwide.

• Established Open Component Strategy based on an object-based 3-tier architecture. The result was a simplification of the Internet infrastructure needed for the Fidelity.com site. Implemented first phase in 6-month time frame for an estimated annual savings of $42 million.
• Established Enterprise-wide E-Commerce Architecture Board made up of lead architects from various business units in order to leverage existing “Best of Breed” technologies while gaining consensus on new architectural directions. .
• Operational responsibility for enterprise-wide infrastructures that supported over 2 billion production transactions a year.

• Successfully re-engineered the largest volume channel with the Touch Tone Xpress product. Produced a successful tactical deployment of object technologies while furthering the strategic direction of the organization.
