I began working part-time at King Radio as a concept artist, rendering "faceplates" to help the engineers visualize the final product. This soon worked into a full-time job and my duties expanded to include graphic support for marketing and technical publications, as well as engineering. During my 10 years at King Radio (now Honeywell Bendix/King Avionics) I was exposed to many aspects of graphic design and illustration, including my introduction to computer graphics, which has become such an essential part of the graphic design field.
