    My dream of becoming an entrepreneur fructified when I co-founded C2 Workshop in 2003. The experience so far has been challenging, exhilarating, and fulfilling! Most satisfying has been the fact that the organisation has been assiduously built on the foundation of strong values and ethics. Honesty and transparency are practised in all our dealings with clients, partners, vendors and employees, enabling each of them to see long-term value in their association with C2.

    In the six years since our inception, C2 has had the privilege to work with some of the most prestigeous clients across the world. Importantly, we have retained every single client we have worked with till date. We have some way to go before we achieve our ultimate goals and objectives… but the journey ahead sure looks inviting and exciting!

    SSI offered me with the kind of exposure and experience few other companies would have been able to. From strategising franchise policies to setting up and operating IT Education centers across India and the globe, the organisation provided me with the opportunity to work across all stages of a franchise/business cycle… and in diverse markets, geographies and cultures.

    With it’s innovative “short-term and high-end” IT courses, SSI single-handedly brought about a paradigm shift in the IT Education business in India. In half a decade, SSI went from being a rank outsider in the overcrowded IT Education space in the country to attaining the numero uno position. I am proud to have played an important role in one of the most remarkable success stories in Indian corporate history.

    Aptech is the place I cut my teeth on the education and franchising business. When I joined the organisation, the IT Education sector was beginning to take it’s first baby steps in the Indian marketplace… nobody (atleast not me!) would have ever imagined the stupendous growth the industry would achieve over the next decade and the pivotal role it would play in making India the global IT Superpower it is today.

    Starting right at the bottom of the rung, I grew to the position of Regional Business Head in the organisation. During this period, I had the opportunity to successfully implement some of the most pathbreaking franchising concepts in the country as Aptech went on to establish the largest network of IT Education centers in the world!

    I believe “door-to-door” selling is the best possible initiation to a sales career. I started my career at Mothercare doing just that… knocking doors to sell the iconic “ZX Spectrum+” home computer. Once I got over the initial horror of having doors slammed in my face, I settled in pretty well and actually started enjoying my job! In a year’s time, I was also handling dealer sales in the state of Tamil Nadu.
