CMO at Add Three Inc.
Greater Seattle Area
Brian has been working in the online advertising industry since April,1996 as a media planner and buyer, and SEM/SEO guru. He has also worked many business development partnership deals with the top online brands. In 1999, he started an affiliate marketing business, Don't Blink Media, with his two partners, Jason "J-Lo" Llorin and Norman "Wiki" Clarke. In 2006, they transformed Don't Blink into a full service ad agency and recently branched off to start a new agency, Add Three, Inc., that focuses on search engine marketing, media buying and planning services and SEO for local and national brands.
Brian also teaches search engine marketing classes in the Greater Seattle area through Biznik.com and is on the creative board for the NWIAG.com Seattle advertising club, which he helped found in 2006.
Outside of the daily grind of work, Brian is a tastemaker in the Seattle nightlife scene with interest in several nightclubs and bars including The War Room, Havana's Social, The Saint, and the Rob Roy (formerly The Viceroy). Brian still enjoys DJing old school hip hop sets at various local venues even though claimed retirement for the past 5 years. He's a serious audiophile, pack rat and Virgo - the proud owner of an extensive vinyl record collection consisting of over 7,000 pieces; all alphabetized by genre.
He continues to work in the online dating space with top brands Perfectmatch, Match.com, Lavalife, and with various political advocacy groups in the telecommunications vertical.
More often than not, you can spot Brian trolling for Tchotchke's at SES, iMedia and Affiliate Summits. He wishes he still had his Ask Jeeves bobble head.
You can read some of his rants and raves on the industry on his blog at: InternetAdPulse.com (Tell him he needs to write more often.)
