Responsibe for leading development and execution of market and growth strategy, including strategic market planning, market and business unit assessments, mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and greenfield development transactions (closed over 100 transactions); advisor and business partner to executive corporate and senior business unit management team on all strategic market and corporate development matters.
Recent accomplishments include:
• Led divestiture of mandated United States Department of Justice (“DOJ”) divestiture assets resulting from the $4.5B merger of Republic and Allied, involving assets in 15 geographic markets with $200M in annual revenue. Proceeds of approximately $475 million were materially above expectations.
• Led business strategy, planning and successful negotiation with the Department of Justice in connection with the $4.5B merger of Republic and Allied. Resulting mandated divestitures were materially below Republic’s pro-forma estimates.
• Led strategic evaluation of overseas market and business unit resulting in action plan to mitigate risk and position business to secure future growth opportunties
• Developed and rolled-out strategic market planning tool and incorporated tool into annual budgeting process and monthly operating reviews.
