Led the interior design and development team for the Chevy Trailblazer and GMC Envoy total interior. Innovation in leadership and program management was required because the team was comprised of General Motors, Johnson Controls, supplier, and competitor employees.
Organized and led the writing of a Statement of Work for each sub-system in the interior. These documents define the product content, design intent, functional requirements, and test requirements for the sub-system.
Led the cross functional Technical Review process during the quoting and sourcing stages of the program. Because Johnson Controls competitors were being reviewed, a strong ethical approach to the review process and a detailed technical knowledge of the product was needed.
