Many businesses find themselves in situations where their processes suffer from geographical obstacles - in simpler terms they have people and information in various locations that need to communicate. The internet when properly applied can be an excellent solution to this problem.

The solutions I develop are focused on solving your business issues. Here are some examples of the type of thought that goes into a solution:

One client wanted to display their products on the internet and had found a developer who put together a site that displayed products. There was a lot of really excellent technology being used to pop up various windows with images of the product. The problem was that it required so many clicks to see what you were looking at their customers lost focus. The reality was that most of their web customers were already clients and simply wanted to find the product quickly. I redesigned the site to be much simpler and found that their customers were pleased with the ability to find the products they needed without so much clicking around.

In a similar fashion I have engineered web sites for realestate that do not use gimicks that distract from the message, but rather are specifically designed to answer the most important questions that a potential consumer needs to know. Many sites are designed to withhold information to "trick" you into calling the agent, but my clients have found a much better response by letting the consumer have access to all the important information in the best format possible. The testimony to this design concept was when an agent reported to me that someone they had never met came in an requested to write a contract on a specific lot.

The internet is a very different kind of marketplace and we must "unlearn" much of the marketing concepts that we currently embrace to find success in this realm.
