Randy Ibrahim, VP of Technology for Nexergy Inc., has been active within the battery and battery-charger industry since 1996. He led the original initiative to create a smart-battery and battery-charger division for Electritek, which later merged with Nexergy. Randy's twenty-two years of experience in military, medical, industrial, and high-volume consumer industries has given him a unique advantage when qualifying battery designs for use in these industries.
Randy's work includes pioneering the development of custom safety circuits, and battery chargers for the Li-Sulfur chemistry. Randy was also active in developing Electritek's core competency in safety-circuits, fuel gauging, and battery chargers for Li-Ion, and Li-Polymer chemistries. As a result, Randy has filed for numerous patents in his area of work, and has written numerous articles for industry trade publications.
Outside of battery technology, Randy is an avid motor-sport enthusiast, metal sculpture artist, and extreme home-makeover expert.
Randy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University, and is active in the IEEE Power Society
