I grew up in Los Angeles, CA. At a young age, I relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area, where I attended college and law school. I earned a BA in political science from San Francisco State University; and a JD from Golden Gate School of Law. I clerked for the California Supreme Court and the Attorney Generals office when I was in law school.
I began my practice in San Francisco in 1991 after I was admitted to the California Bar. I represented people in criminal and civil matters. I returned to Southern California in May 1999, and moved my practice to downtown Los Angeles. The focus of my practice is on family law and civil litigation. My family law practice includes divorce, custody, support, visitation, paternity, domestic violence and guardianships.
