Ramón Pedrosa-López, I am currently Dean of the Mass Media Faculty at the Universidad de las Américas (University of the Americas), a top private university in Mexico. I am also a Professor of Journalism.
I spent several years reporting on financial issues from the Far East as an Asia Correspondent for EFE, Spain’s International News Agency. I have contributed as an op-ed writer to the International Herald Tribune or the China Economic Review.
I hold a double M. A. in Regional Integration and had a stint as First Vice President of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club Hong Kong.
A professional futurist in the making, I have recently published my first book on the future of the media.
You can find me at www.ramonpedrosa.info and contact me at email@ramonpedrosa.com or on skype (ra_notinhk).

As a Dean at the Universidad de las Américas Mexico City, I am in charge of overseeing all activities within the Mass Media Faculty. Priority number one is our B.A. Mass Media programme, although my range of activities has led me to the rethinking of our Mass Media degree and to recruiting the best and the brightest in Mexico City.
