Most of my experience is either as a reporter or as a marketer.

After 18 years running Ragan Communications, I still am not very good reading a balance sheet.

That will come as no surprise to the accountants who work for me.

But I do feel I have a knack for marketing and reporting. The latter has come in handy with the launch of Ragan.com, the first daily news service for corporate communicators.
