Novo Arts is an arts consulting firm in Manhattan, with an in-house production studio. I was the poetry slam champion of the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge Massachucetts from 2001-2002.
I won the "Best Female Slam Poet" award in the 2002 Cambridge Poetry Awards.
The Cantab Lounge hosts the oldest poetry slam in Boston, and which has been renowned for it's skills in writing, not just performance. I was on the 2001 and 2002 Cantab National teams, and toured the region and the country doing performances, hosting workshops, and promoting the team through lectures, television and radio performances, and by contributing to the two published anthologies of our work.
