Paulo Traça is currently the Chief Technical Officer and Project Lead for Logical Software.
Having worked in the IT industry for over 10 years, Paulo has gained experience in various roles, ranging from technical lead for projects in the telecom and banking sector to consultant in J2EE projects, System integration and business application development in companies like Link Consulting, PTSI, TMN and GFI International.
Paulo has expertise's in Enterprise/Web Architectures in the Java / J2EE platform, SOA/Web Services, Code Quality/Best practices, open source tools/libraries, agile development and project management methodologies.
Lately he has been focusing in semantic web and collaborative filtering technologies.
We is also a active member of the Portuguese Java user group (PTJUG), the Scrum user group and the Apache Tapestry web framework. Above all, Paulo is a software geek and hands-on kind of guy.
Paulo holds a Bs. In computer science from the University of Lisbon and is a certified ScrumMaster.
