Received BSc Engg (Electrical) degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) Dhaka in 1975, obtained First Class with Honours marks and stood First in order of merit.
Received MSc Engg (Electrical) degree from BUET, Dhaka in 1977.
Received PhD degree in Electrical Engineering from Cambridge University (Gonville & Caius College), Cambridge (UK) in 1986.
Teaching Experience: 33 years 10 months of teaching experience of which 20 years 11 months as a Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET), Dhaka (on 1 July 2009 ).
