The working title for my PhD is "Autonomic Solutions for Virtualised ICT Systems". Current research concerns co-evolutionary approaches to developing marketing strategies in unpredictably dynamic environments. I am co-sponsored by the EPSRC and BT.
For my MSc thesis, I investigated economic and reproductive behaviours using an agent-based artificial society model.
I am also a tutor for MSc students in Computer Science.
Previous experience has been in project management within the public sector (both local government and university based).

I am a tutor for the Java-based Software Workshop module of the school's MSc Computer Science course.
This involves tutoring a group of twelve students; preparing and delivering weekly tutorials, marking programming exercises and providing help and advice on various technologies and programming techniques.
