Marc Hedlund is Chairman & CEO at Wesabe, a personal finance startup. He was most recently Entrepreneur in Residence at O'Reilly Media, Inc. Prior to O'Reilly, Marc was VP Engineering (and employee #3) at Sana Security, an enterprise software startup developing an "immune system" for protecting servers from worms and hackers. Before that, Marc co-founded and was CEO of Popular Power, a distributed computing startup that ran SETI@Home-style clusters on the Internet and for corporate intranet customers. Marc also founded and led Lucas Online, the Internet subsidiary of Lucasfilm, Ltd; was Director of Engineering at Organic Online; and was CTO at Webstorm, where he wrote one of the Internet's first shopping cart applications in 1994. Marc lives in San Francisco and is a graduate of Reed College.
