- Aug 1, 2007: Winner of the Project Blogger Contest, sponsored by Inman News and Active Rain. Together with my mentor, Frances Flynn Thorsen, we excelled throughout a 14 week realty blogging competition and were able to assign the $5000 winnings to the charity of our choice, CARE. Being dedicated to cutting edge resources in real estate and having a half dozen websites, blogging looked like "the next great thing" in realty marketing - so I jumped in with both feet. It was a tremendous success in all respects!
- July 23, 2008: Speaker at Inman's Bloggers Connect in San Francisco. I was on a panel moderated by Jay Thompson, together with Linda Davis, Teresa Boardman, and Laurie Manny. Our topic was "Case Study: How Four Bloggers Are Closing Sales." We discussed what strategies worked to help us generate business and make sales from our blogs.

Residential Real Estate sales in Silicon Valley (the San Jose area). I specialize in assisting nice folks in the "west valley communities" (Los Gatos, Saratoga, Cambrian Park, Almaden, Campbell, etc.), in working with boomers and seniors who are retiring (often out of the area), with "remote sellers", and with engineers and high-tech people who want a lot of data and prefer communication by email. I have sold everything from small condos to estate properties. I co-authored a book, "Get The Best Deal When Selling Your Home In Silicon Valley" (2004, Gabriel Publications).
