Pooja Chauhan’s Summary
I started my career earlier than usual - working as computer trainer for small kids while I was in high school. I completed my 12th with PCM in 1998 and dropped studies after that. While working as a part-time teacher / trainer for professional students through 2000, I continued to find software projects which I could do on my own. During my struggle period, I have had short stints in multiple roles ranging from Recipe Writer to Team Lead at a call centre. One of such short stints grew to a mid-size IT consulting assignment for First Flight Couriers Limited, and I left other things to continue into core software development.
I persisted in mainstream IT and started a small-time business (in parallel to consulting First Flight) with an idea in Telecom [receive an sms, search a db and reply with an sms]. One of the landmark things we did was releasing results for class 10th exams of ICSE board on SMS in 2002. This was the first time any of the education boards had made their results available through SMS. Despite some success, this business did not fly and I joined Induslogic (now called Globallogic).
After my first year at Indus, I started working on the projects undertaken under Pine's banner, gaining proficiency in Payment Cards domain and transactional systems. I was the technology owner of their product lines for Loyalty and Retail, and advised the Services division from time to time. I left Pine as Chief Software Architect in November 2005.
I found Andúril Technologies in March 2006. As the Founder, I am responsible for Anduril’s Business Strategy, Execution, Technology and Work Culture.
