In October 1996, the previous experience in DigiMapa resulted in my being invited by the U.S Graphics Accelerator manufacturer Number Nine Visual Technology (www.nine.com), to re-locate to Spain, in order to take the position of Sales Manager for Southern Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy and Greece).
Until January 31st ’98, I held this position where I’ve created, managed and developed a team able to bring the NNVT name and brand again to a Market Leading position (as it had been in 1993/94/95).

In February ‘91 I co-founded, in partnership with Mr. José Maria Monteiro e Mr. Jaume Manresa Massanet the private helded company DIGIMAPA - Cartografia Aplicada, Informática e Serviços, Lda., in which I was in charge for Finance, Marketing and Sales (together with the Company management).
DigiMapa became one of the biggest Digital Mapping companies in Portugal and also became one of the largest Portuguese I.T. Distributors for Graphical Solutions. Simultaneously DigiMapa was a major supplier and ontractor for G.I.S., along with Digital Mapping Turn-Key solutions and consulting.
Today, in the field of G.I.S., DigiMapa’s name is known throughout Europe and has been involved in some European projects (D.G. XIII - Brussels -> Magic Tours Project), together with other major European partners (T.S.I. - Bordeaux; CETE Sud-Ouest - Bordeaux; Limerick University - Ireland) or consortiums (Compagnie Générale des Eaux; I.G.N.-F.I. - Paris; etc.).
