Nexus Software is a software development and retail banking branch connectivity company that markets a suite of functionally rich, object-oriented products to facilitate migration from IBM legacy systems to a Windows client/server architecture. Nexus’ products provide connectivity options for attended branch peripherals as well as self-service terminals such as automated teller machines (ATMs). Nexus is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina, with satellite offices in Portsmouth, England and Edinburgh, Scotland.
Co-founded Nexus Software in 1985. Nexus was acquired by Diebold Corporation of Canton, Ohio in Oct-1999, at which point Nexus licensees included over three hundred (300) banks in over seventy nine (79) countries. Nexus' clients included some of the largest financial institutions in the United States, Canada, Europe and the Pacific Rim. To ensure orderly transition to new ownership, I was engaged in a two year management contract from Oct-1999 to Oct-2001.
