Independent Fiction and Nonfiction Writer

I have written/published both fiction (stage plays, short stories, novels) as well as a variety of nonfiction books, columns and articles. Under a variety of pseudonyms my work has appeared in books, newspapers, professional journals, literary magazines, e-zines, scientific journals, magazines, weekly and monthly columns, and the like. My current projects include writing a mainstream nonfiction book and conducting preliminary research for a documentary, and when I have time, working on a new stage play.
Specifically...SATIRE. More generally...Writing, Research, Creativity and Critical Thinking.
(Self-Employed; Writing and Editing industry)
1988 — Present (20 years)
Contemporary satirical fiction (books, short stories, stage plays) and nonfiction (columns, essays); mainstream nonfiction books on a variety of topics; scientific and professional books, white papers and journal articles; literary journals; mainstream newspaper and magazine articles, etc.
Works in progress and future projects include books, stage plays, and a collaborative effort on a satirical documentary about the evils of the credit card industry.
All things creative; indie movies, music, art, docs, painting, photography, writing, stage plays, books that make me think about life in new ways...also dig hiking, dancing, eating Mediterranean and Thai food, hanging out with friends and meeting new, strange and interesting people.
All right...there was no appropriate place to put this (this Linked-In site is a bit anal with their rigid requirements) so here goes: My latest book is a novel entitled: *Not For Public Consumption*, a wicked, satirical look at life on the edge. Read an excerpt on my blog or in the blog section of my website.
Under my *real* identity I have received scads of honors and awards that most people would be unfamiliar with. I do have a couple *brand name* recognitions...Who's Who in the World and Who's Who in America seem to think I am pretty special--but that's just because they want me to continue buying their $300.00 plaques.
