I managed the in-house ad agency with a creative staff of writers and graphic designers. Before my employment, they outsourced all design to agencies, costing the company over $300k per year.
I was responsible for meeting with all levels of management to develop internal and external advertising campaigns for safety awareness, driver recruiting, office recruiting, trade shows, corporate events and marketing collateral. By the end of the first year of our Safety and Loss Prevention Committee, through creative ideas and graphic support we saved the company $1 million.
Other accomplishments include: bringing annual report design in-house, saving company over $100k per year; successfully launched the open house of new state-of-the-art driver simulator, the only of its kind in the country; helped in developing ad tracking phone system, which helped us cut down costs on advertising with national trade publications.
