  Ultimately I see JIU has the means to achieve what I call the three characteristics of leadership; the leader as a person, the leader as an organization, and finally the leader able to contribute to the global markets. Simply to understand leadership from personal, organizational, and global markets perspectives that educates at the same level as becoming educated. Many books have been written about the phenomena call Lean Thinking, and Lean Manufacturing. What I have come to learn is not every book has been written yet, when a philosophy is inspired by common sense in actions, and optimism in thought that greater Lean concepts are waiting to be discovered. My doctoral studies will be focused on exploiting these unwritten discoveries as a method to once again grow, and improve the United States manufacturing industry.
