Pierre-Luc Bisaillon’s Summary
I look for challenging projects at the frontier of IT and business strategy (not so surprising after Electrical Engineering/MBA, I suppose).
Today this means a global role with Dell, managing a joint initiative with Microsoft. All sources agree - McKinsey, Gartner, etc. say that companies spend too much on IT just to 'keep the lights on', and not enough to use IT as a competitive weapon. In that spirit, Dell's quest to 'Simplify IT' makes sense, and I'm happy to be a part of the effort.
Before Dell, I was raising money for startups, wirting for think tanks like New Paradigm & Don Tapscott, launching businesses. And before that, consulting with McKinsey & Company. The only constant is change, as they say...
