I manage two businesses that do several processes. 1) Branding and all the nuances that go with it (Sunset Promotions, Inc.) I assist companies with their branding efforts on the Internet. 2) A retail web business which sells widgets through a variety of means (Partner Stores, Inc.). 3) Representation for a number of photographers who have great photography and want it marketed and promoted and 4) Event photography. Photography part is a compilation of needs by the other two corporations.

After a number of years in profit, non-profit, Fortune 500, 100, and 50 companies, I have mastered contract law, public speaking, built bridges between differing organizational groups, photography, inventory management, and people skills.

My portfolio includes several thousand copyrights for photography and writings and a few trademarks/service marks. Plus, I'm a published photographer in a New York Times Best Seller hard back.

I have lofty goals of which I generally master most from time to time. One goal is constantly elusive and that is to be the best I can be - it is an ongoing process learning new techniques and technology enhancements.

    I supervise a team of web designers and coordinate activities related to productions for the Internet. WKTV.org is a community television production company and is one of the oldest Public, Educational, and Governmental (PEG) producers of content through the cable companies. We have five paid staff members and over 300 volunteers. Regardless of where you are in the world, you can access most of our activity simply by clicking on wktv.org or pasting the address into your browser.

    My role besides being the mentor to our team and setting direction is to work with members of the board of directors and the general manager for content within not only the main web but also several satellite web sites - all of which are linked to the main site wktv.org. I also do other work such as assist with editing certain TV shows for video streaming. I give wktv.org about 350 hours of my time each year.

    Sunset Promotions, Inc. took its name because its owner likes to photograph sunsets. The sun sets only to rise again for a new day. Thus, the beginning for a fresh start after recognizing your achievements and goals to attain.

    Sunset is into branding as an art form. It is first and foremost an idea that each one of us, whether it be an organization or a person, is a 'brand'. What we do with the brand and how we promote it for the end goal is what we are about.

    Sunset has a Photography line of products that are produced by professional and amateur photographers. The members of the Photography group producing the products are selected by merit, potential, and portfolio. It is a tightly knit group whom are invited to participate to have Sunset market their craft.

    Sunset is about the web model for the business which want to use the Internet as a promotional device. Sunset has a web development team who work with a variety of clients that span the medical, governmental, publications, restaurants, and accounting fields.

    Sunset is about selling of products through affiliate marketing strategies. Although, physical product is sold through its sister organization, Partner Stores, Inc.

    Sunset is about various other branding opportunities such as logo wear using in-house designed lithography and photography imaging from our photography portfolios.

    We partnered with Sunbelt Software Systems the maker of Vipre Anti-virus software currently rated number 1 in the industry.

    We have exclusive partners as well meaning they do not sell to anyone else, only to us either with our own brand or with their brand.

And I reviewed project reporting, mileage reports, and did follow-ups to reps that were falling behind in their work.

    Although my title was that of assistant, my tasks were identical to those of the regional manager for the apparel group that I managed - about 25 employees.

    I was responsible for the entire west side of Michigan, northern Indiana, and parts of southeast Michigan covering a variety of retail stores for a major cable provider. My job was to insure that that cable company had their product sold into homes that had video and Internet connectivity.

    My market was consistently #1 in national sales that generated 'stickiness' whereby a cable customer stayed with the cable company for over a year or more since there was no contract involved. We had more sales in our small market then any other major Metro area in the country.
