Philip Siddons’s Summary

I am an office automation and electronic publishing specialist and I absolutely love what I do. The same for the people with whom I work. I am committed to corporate excellence and I thrive on producing (and helping my colleagues produce) the most professional communication possible. I have a passion for empowering others to accomplish their goals and communicating in print, on the web or face-to-face the best of what our organization can offer to meet client needs. I bring the highest level of professionalism to the team and through supportive team building, adroit project management and the wise use of front-edge technology, I provide the highest level of internal and external communication possible.

As the Technology and Communications Coordinator for the Buffalo Urban League, I am leading the organization in not only its external marketing but also its internal staff communication and documentation. As a certified 6 Sigma project manager, I maintain thorough staff communication with our client base and supporters through web and electronic publications as well as produce quarterly newsletters and multiple annual fundraising event print communications. I support all departments in the most efficient use of computer technology.

I have overseen our migration from multiple and redundant local area networks to a centrally-managed Windows 2003 Server wide area network which includes a Citrix server farm, voice-over-IP telephony, a Wi-Fi and network access through Citrix and Windows mobile capable smart cell phones. I have provided the highest level of communication for marketing, advertising and internal staff training as well as office automation support – carefully balancing intelligent technical support in a context of compassionate and empathetic training in every firm in which I’ve worked. My lifetime commitment to continual technological and social learning enhances communication, use of technology, team building and has achieved company results.
