    As the senior member of the UNIX engineering & architecture team responsible for VocaLink’s rapidly expanding payment processing systems, my work includes Solaris engineering and detailed design of UNIX environments, including creating custom environments for Proof of Concepts.

    In order to provide the level of High Availability and service uptime required I've been working extensively with the following technologies - Solaris 10, SPARC/x86, Sun Cluster, Oracle RAC and custom solutions for data centre failover.

    I'm also working on other engineering tasks to keep
    ahead of the game and be in a position to deploy when vendor support is available. These include,

    - ZFS Boot (now supported in U6 & U7)
