Philippe Botteri is a Vice President with Bessemer Venture Partners, a top tier international venture fund with $3B of assets under management. He focuses on the Enterprise Software, SaaS, and Internet sectors and was closely involved with Bessemer’s investments in Wize.com, Intego, Intacct, Cornerstone OnDemand, and Eloqua.
Before joining Bessemer, Philippe was a Senior Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company's high-tech practice in Silicon Valley, specializing in the software, IT solutions, and consumer electronics industries. During his tenure with McKinsey, which started in Paris in 1998, Philippe led the development of "web 1.0" internet start-ups, pioneered the firm's work with "on-demand" software, and advised clients on sales and marketing, growth strategy and M&A. His clients included multi-national corporations and private equity funds.
Philippe holds an MS in Applied Engineering from the Ecole des Mines de Paris, and an MS in Science from the Ecole Polytechnique. He has also served in the French Navy.
