Philip Hotchkiss is a startup veteran who has also advised companies on business strategy and new product development. Phil has unique experience, insight and passion for digital product offerings provided to businesses for the mutual benefit of the business and its consumers. He demonstrated this as the founder and CEO of BigCharts® in 1994. BigCharts became the worldwide standard in online financial charting for self-directed investors by serving its application to the world’s leading online brokerage and financial media companies. BigCharts was acquired by CBS MarketWatch.com, Inc. after which Hotchkiss served as its president and a member of its board of directors. Phil continued his startup journey as the CEO of Talkingpoint, and most recently, as the Chief Product Officer at both Klout and Get Satisfaction. Phil brought SaaS applications and platform based solutions to markets rich in consumer engagement yet focused on delivering business value to companies ranging from small businesses to top Fortune 500 brands across a variety of industries. Hotchkiss is an Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award winner.

-An enterprise-level social CRM integration with Salesforce.com that links community topics to ServiceCloud cases, provides scalable B2C customer service, enables community management directly from Salesforce.com and delivers a 360 view of the customer
-Get Satisfaction Engage - an extensible widget architecture allowing easy, lego-like configuration and deployment of customer touch points that maximize community value across the customer lifecycle
-A series of product improvements including expanded community moderation capabilities, more robust community performance analytics, localization across nine languages, SSL everywhere and more accurate community search functionality.
Recruited top product management, data science and interaction design talent covering consumer, business and platform segments of the product portfolio.
Klout measures influence across the social web.
Lead both the data science and product teams and achieved a series of strategic milestones. Brought Facebook into the Klout score, delivered automatic daily influence scoring for over 40 million user profiles, overhauled the Klout scoring algorithm for the first time since the companyʼs inception and actively participated in the fund raising process that led to an $8.5 million financing round.
