I own and run my own vineyard in Piedmont (Piemonte), Italy. In my spare time (!) I exercise the litle grey cells by providing consulting and advisory services to European business leaders based on my 25+ years of technology innovation and leadership in both the enterprise and service provider segments.
Leadership - A recognised leader with key strengths and experience in rapid organisational change and achieving results. Cross sector experience over many years, with key operational and delivery roles in military; public sector; financial services and investment banking followed by distinguished achievements in consulting and business development roles for a leading consultancy. An experienced man manager with senior managerial and executive corporate appointments through periods of growth, recession and change. Built successful teams in both functional and complex matrix organisational structures.
A background in technology innovation and driven to make technology work in a business context, comfortable operating in both business and technical environments at all levels. Good critical thinking skills. An excellent presenter experienced at both public speaking and being interviewed by press and media.
Having worked in many countries in Europe; North America and Asia; with experience of national and international corporate cultures – a strong sense of the challenges necessary to achieve success both internally and externally. This experience includes mergers and acquisition as well as sectorisation of corporate organisations.
Programme and Project Management – Created and managed dynamic cross matrix teams to deliver rapid results in complex technology and business environments. Programme manager for major development joint imitative between Cap Gemini & Cisco (multi-company and multi-geographic) delivering significant value and downstream business to both companies. Acted as technology audit or review lead for many major projects.
