PRT Research designed technologies to turn the internet into a database. We had three major research and data acquisition engines, a mass anonymous proxy spidering engine capable of turning any webpage into semantic data, an RSS source processing system capable of managing any RSS data source such as the blogosphere. We also developed an extensive Business Intelligence engine that does analytic processing on data from the internet and blogosphere – and other data sources – to analyze activity and determine trends. Our products include an SEO Automation system, a white label Google AdSense system and categorized feeds of the blogosphere. At its peak, PRT employed 13 people doing consulting work and internal project development. As owner, I managed all employees and projects and designed and built our blog indexing engine.
