Peter is a Founding Partner of 20/20 Innovation, a strategic innovation and business renewal consultancy. He has over 20 years of experience helping companies identify and implement value-based strategies that allow them to achieve sustainable growth and enhance shareholder value. Providing careful analysis and fresh insights, helps lead companies through extensive market and customer investigation and competitive analysis to evaluate their current business activities, gauge future opportunities and to develop business strategies and operational plans to help achieve long term success. Specifically, he has helped companies such as the DOE’s UEA, AT&T, DEC, Stanhope Home Products, BBN, Genetics Institute, Astra Pharmaceuticals, Medrad and John Deere assess market opportunities, perform market expectation and competitive analyses, and develop value propositions and business models to effectively deliver customer value. He has extensive experience in customer needs analysis and requirements definition.
Prior to 20/20 Innovation he was on the management team at Product Genesis, a product strategy, design and development consultancy spun out of MIT’s Innovation Center. While at Product Genesis he developed BreakPoint Innovation™, a method for repeatable and reliable innovation. This framework has been enhanced and expanded into 20/20 Innovation’s Innovation Catalyst™ and Innovation Catapult™ methodologies for strategic innovation.
Peter is the founder of PhatRat Technologies, Inc. and is a co-inventor on eight issued patents. He has Computer Science and Commerce degrees from the University of Cape Town, and has published numerous articles on cost management and strategic performance measurement.
