Pete Zdanis ( www.petezdanis.com ) went to work for Mobil Oil (now Exxon/Mobil) immediately upon his graduation from Michigan State University. Life was good. The promotions came early and often. He relocated around the United States numerous times from the East Coast to the West Coast, and stops in between. Each new assignment brought a fancier title, a larger salary, and everything that came with them.
All of his job performance evaluations were excellent for more than 25 years – right up to the day that he was “downsized” and told that he no longer had a job. The good news was that he was given 10 minutes to clear out his office of all of his personal effects!
If you don’t think it can happen to you, think again. It’s happening all around you at companies of all sizes, and with jobs at all levels.
Fortunately, Pete had started his own home-based business with USANA Health Sciences several months before his corporate career came to an abrupt end. When he lost my job, his USANA earnings almost equaled his Exxon/Mobil salary, and they haven’t stopped growing yet.
Since that life-changing day, Pete, and his wife Dora, have built their USANA business to an organization of over 14,000 USANA Associates and Customers in 14 countries.
