Sr. Technical Specialist at FedEx Services
Greater Memphis Area
In college, I was an intern at FedEx Services in Automation for 3 summers. The first summer I focused on creating a website to help businesses connect to FedEx's back end servers called FXRS. The second and third summers I was an Internal Customer Integration Consultant (ICIC) and trained customers how to use www.fedex.com and Quickship.
When I graduated from Vanderbilt in May of 2004, I worked for both George Owen who is a commercial real estate appraiser and for Apley, Inc., which is a small computer consulting company. George relocated to South Carolina while I ran his business in Memphis so he could get established in Beaufort, SC. At Apley I designed websites, gathered requirements for larger projects, and performed network and computer troubleshooting.
From September 2005 to October 2007, I was a Business Systems Analyst for FedEx Express. Some of my duties included project management for ARI, GENESIS, and AC3, UAT lead, requirements writing, general documentation, and creating and maintaining a testing lab.
October 2007 I went to Securas Consulting Group, LLC where I was a Technical Project Manager and reported directly to Craig Pfeifer, the CTO.
November 2008 I started at FedEx Services as a Sr. Technical Specialist in the ACE group/automation where we support multi million dollar shippers.
