Webudvikler at Andersen & Blæsbjerg

I would like to view myself as an upcomming web guru. Indeed my goal is to be as much on the forefront of what is happening on the web as possible.
In my experience as a web programmer developing CMS, every body can become good or at least average programmers. So being a programmer has no value. That is why I chose my education as a multimedia designer with a more creative angle then just programming.
Creativeness and a finger on the pulse of the internet has much higher value then just programming and designing UIs.

My primary job is implementing web sites and helping the ADs designing UIs. Secondary I work with the writers on SEO and AdWords.
I'm also involved in shaping the new marketing tactics and profile of Andersen & Blæsbjerg.
Recently I've been working on forming the new web 2.0 policies and helped contributing with a neat market analysis on the penetration of Facebook and its use as a marketing platform in Denmark.
As you can see the core of my job is basically to ensure that Andersen & Blæsbjerg and our solutions stays at absolute spear head of the game, when it concerns marketing on the web.
Latest job has been the new Danbo.dk helping to secure Danbo a position at the top of the SERPs.

Mainly developing the core CMS and working with C5 integration. This was very code heavy stuff. The CMS was very restricted on server power as the CEO thought it wiser to spend money on man hours then hardware. Thus I developed a number of radical caching methods and implemented them into the code. Solutions were either purely code based or a combination of stored procedures and database solutions. This was no easy task as the developer before me had decided on building the system in the outdated ASP VBscript language. I also helped at customer introduction courses and did a wide range of graphical web page designs for customer solutions and the CMS itself. I also worked a lot on the now quite outdated Bakuri SEO Solutions, where link indexes and separate product info pages were created to build a strong link network. It worked great back in 2007, but today especially Google seems to work around this pretty easily. The CEO Toke Terkelsen was and still is completely out of touch with his employees and will not listen to reason, neither on hardware or on promising new SEO concepts. He moved development to Thailand and expected his new employees to develop a brand new .Net driven CMS in 2 months. Needless to say they quit and so did nearly all of my colleges from the time I worked at the company. Last I heard they were still using the CMS developed by me. My colleges at Bakuri were wonderful, but the CEO made it a terrible place to work. I won't recommend working for Toke Terkelsen to anyone.
