I have 29 years' experience of intellectual property, IT and competition law, though I would rather not admit that it is quite that long. My IP practice is predominantly in the field of copyright and trade marks: I file and prosecute UK and EC trade mark applications as well as advising clients on protection and handling disputes. In the competition law field, I have particular expertise in the field of motor vehicle distribution agreements under the EC block exemption regulation. I regularly lecture and present courses on my areas of law, and have written seven books and innumerable (it seems to me) articles in the professional, trade and national press. I am a member of the editorial sub-committee of The Trademark Reporter.

I have been writing, lecturing and training for many years. Currently producing a new edition of an old book on intellectual property for serial publication like a Dickens novel on www.insitelawmagazine.com, revising the Complete Guide to the Block Exemption, and engaged in other writing projects. Presenting courses for Central Law Training and Quorum Training, and recording audio presentations on developments in intellectual property law.
