My interests lie in the areas of (1) knowledge management, (2) innovation processes, and (3) project management.
These are considered and researched through the lens of successfull implementation in various organizational settings, specializing in applying contemporary Information and Communication Technologies in the mentioned areas. The focus is on providing organizations operationalizable advice in how to adopt new ways of working when securing their competitive advantages.
Lately I have been examining the design of information systems that improve productivity of knowledge workers in the areas of creating and utilizing knowledge in their everyday working practices.
Peter Baloh’s Specialties:
Renovating business processes, injecting them with "knowledge awareness", and introducing appropriate IT support.
In example, renovating and improving innovation processes through integration of external partners, and designing appropriate IT support for it... Introducing project office and changing how projects are managed and executed, with the focus on adding the knowledge component and deploying complete project-oriented information system.
