I am passionate about good design, usability, and creating connections between people, organizations, communities, and ideas. I've been working on the web since 1995, and involved in publishing and design for over 20 years. I was one of the few people to be involved in blogging, podcasting, and videoblogging before they became well known, even in the tech communities.
Things I consider important: art, design, good ideas, transparency, usability, functionality, community, and above all, the user experience.
Lately I've been doing audio engineering and video production, and am currently producing a documentary film about the balance between the work we want to do, and the work we need to do.
