Pete Brown is a Software Architect and Project / Engagement Manager and Client Technologies Evangelist with significant experience leading teams in developing solutions using Microsoft products and technologies. Pete has also been a trainer in the US and abroad and a public speaker in both large and small venues. While Pete still likes to get his hands dirty when he can, his primary responsibilities generally fall within client relationship and project management.
Pete's technical passions include smart client software development (including Silverlight and WPF), user interface/experience (UX) design, and development of large scale eCommerce sites.
In his spare time, Pete enjoys building furniture in his woodworking workshop, and railroading models with his CNC-equipped scale model workshop.
Originally from Massachusetts, Pete now lives with his wife and son near Annapolis, MD.
In January 2008, Pete was awarded the MVP award from Microsoft for his work in Silverlight.
