Current Project
Information Services Department Service Delivery Model Restructure
Duration - 220 days
Scope - The department’s current state worked off of a resource pool; however the staff mentality was that of a silo environment mired in heroic delivery. My scope was to interview all 87 department staff to assess their skills and analyze overlaps and gaps between other isolated roles to identify redundancy. I developed workshops with senior staff and helped them develop a new service delivery model that integrated the silos into portfolios of ‘like’ services lead by a ‘centre of excellence and accountability’. Our result was to lower the attrition rate from 12% to 4% by elevating many positions, effective succession planning and subsequently making pay grades more competitive.

Project - Business Improvement Initiative
Duration 240 days
Scope - Agricorp is an agency of the Ontario government responsible for the delivery of a variety of risk management programs for OMAFRA which delivers various agricultural insurance and stabilization programs. The largest and most complex program, the Canadian Agricultural Income Stabilization program (CAIS), required a complete 3-year, multi-million dollar redesign from the bottom up. My scope was to lead the requirements elicitation, analysis, and planning and communications phases of the project and to deliver a complete business requirements package.

My scope for each project was to lead the requirements elicitation, analysis, and planning and communications phases of the project and to deliver a complete business requirements package. Planning the data migration phase was also part of my scope for each of the projects. In addition, as an elicitation tool for lawyers, I created an interactive wire-frame prototype for Litigator™.
