Mr. Yuanteng Jeff Pei (裴元腾) is a Ph.D. student and a Graduate Research Assistant of Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Michigan State University. He is currently engaged in research on wireless sensor networks in Experimental Laboratory for Advanced Networking and Systems(eLANS) lab in the CSE department. His research adviser is Professor Matt Mutka. Mr. Pei received his B.S. degree in Software Engineering from Int'l School of Software, Wuhan University. He has been attending City University of Hong Kong as an exchange student in Department of Computer Science. Even before that, he has been a high school graduate from Beijing No.4 High School in China.

Mr.Pei is currently engaged in a networked surveillance project, or the Real Time Monitoring and Information Management System, for industry under co-supervison of Dr. Matt Mutka and Dr. Ning Xi at Lab for Robotics and Automation in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, MSU. The project is a Server/Client C++ MFC application with remote manipulation of videos using frame grabbers and compression/decompression streaming using encoding/decoding cards.
