Pete Bishop

From 2002 to 2005 I worked in the marketing department of Clear Channel Entertainment (Theatrical) UK London as Marketing Assistant, then Designer. During this time I managed corporate graphics, print campaigns, produced websites and e-shots for Cats the Musical UK Tour, Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake, Dein Perry’s Tap Dogs, Gumboots and Chicago the Musical to name a few.

In 2006 I returned to Australia and formed P D Bishop Design. I continued my interest in web design and developed a unique website content management system. I’ve worked with many small and medium sized business in both web and graphic design. Projects have included an eLearning module for the Furnishing Industry Association of Australia, 2006. A comprehensive course database for Cass Training, 2007. A successful real estate website for North Coast Sea Change, 2008. In 2009 I designed a series of regional newspaper campaigns for the solar industry.

In December 2009 I released Virtual Hub SAAS - a Software as a Service content management system deployed in a private cloud. It offers web page management, electronic direct mail, blogs, shopping cart and custom data management.

What I enjoy most about designing for the web is the scope of the interaction. Visual => Response => Action => Result. Today I continually adjust our online services to optimise the communication pathways for our clients and their customers.

I live in Coffs Harbour with wife Emily and son Finn.
