Graduated with a Bachelor of Design (Graphic) Newcastle University, Australia 2001. From 2000 to 2001 operated a freelance business interArt Design, providing graphic design and website design to clients in Newcastle. During this time learned extensive color and image management techniques working with Paul Foley's Lightmoods.
From 2002 gained four years work experience in London with Clear Channel Entertainment (Theatrical) UK Ltd. Was employed as the sole Designer in a marketing driven environment of 20 strong. Graphic Design included entire print run for Tap Dogs Rebooted, support material for international and West End shows and corporate communications for CCE. Website Designs included Tap Dogs UK, Cats The Musical, Starlight Express & Matthew Bourne's Swan Lake. The UK Theatrical division of CCE dissolved in December 2005.
In December 2005 returned to Coffs Harbour just north of Nambucca Heads (the surfing hometown) to establish P D Bishop - Graphic Design, New Media & Hosting. Notable projects since returning are; The creation of an in-house website Content Management System - poised for maximising search engine results. Website Design for Cass Training International College, North Coast Sea Change, The Xerox Shop and an E-Learning course created for the Furnishing Industry Association of Australia.
