Prangle is a free online resource for journalists, providing the latest news and information. A major headache in newsrooms today is the deluge of irritating, irrelevant emails. Prangle is a web feed that cuts through the spam and clutter to put key new releases where you can find them quickly and easily.

Archiseek.com has won many awards for its content and community, including two Irish Golden Spiders: one in 1997 for Best Non-Commercial site; and one in 2000 for Best Online Community / Special Interest. It has also been a runner up in 1998 and 2006. This is my personal ongoing project which I have successfully used to test new ideas and approaches. Currently the site has over 2.5 million page views per month, and has successful and popular discussion forums and email newsletters.
In November 2007, Jobsarchitect.com, a recruitment website for architecture and design professionals in the UK and Ireland was launched.

Formed Desire Publishing Ltd. in mid 2000 as an Internet publishing house concentrating on developing in-house projects. Desire Publishing websites have won many awards including three Golden Spiders (Irish Internet Awards), and the European Content Awards in 2000. We also completed websites for high profile clients such as An Taisce (the Irish National Trust), and the Womens’ Health Council of Ireland. Desire Publishing Ltd. is now a holding company for a 50% shareholding of new Irish B2B project Prangle.ie which connects the PR industry and journalists. It is currently being rolled out across the industry.

Formed Volta in early 1999 as a high level Internet consultancy. Responsible for leading the development and design of large web sites and intranet projects including: Circa Arts Magazine; The Mortgage Store (a subsidiary of the Bank of Ireland, Ireland’s largest financial institution); Royal College of Surgeons; the Bank of Ireland; and FLS Aerospace.

Initially responsible for maintaining corporate website and creation of fresh daily content. Later responsible for the successful completion of client websites, and for overseeing the quality of work generated by other members of the production team. Sites that were successfully completed included: The Sunday Business Post; St. James Hospital, American Export Register, Trintech Epaynews, Managing Automation and various other smaller sites. Nua Ltd. was one of the first Irish Internet developers and had a world-wide reputation for its in-house projects.

Since 1998, I have produced articles for assorted Irish print publications. Published by Gill and Macmillan in March 2001, my book "Dublin Street Names" explains the derivation and history of many of the streets of Dublin’s historic city center as well as information on famous figures, buildings, and events associated with these streets.

I am currently a member of the board of this non-profit organisation since 2005, as Executive Director with responsibility for events and marketing.
Architectural Association of Ireland
Between 2001 and 2004 I was a member of the organizing committee of the Architectural Association of Ireland. The AAI was founded in 1896 ‘to promote and afford facilities for the study of architecture and the allied sciences and arts, and to provide a medium of friendly communication between members and others interested in the progress of architecture’. The AAI also sponsor a public lecture series and an annual awards scheme. I have been involved with the organization through maintaining its web site since 1997., Open
